Online RegistrationRegistering as a member of South Coast Athletics is all done online through the Athletics Victoria Website. You will be asked to create a profile, and make a username and password. Then follow the membership prompts. Select the membership package that suits your needs and follow the prompts for online payment.
Athletics Victoria will send you a membership pack which includes competition bib numbers. Please remember your login details as you will use them when registering for all events and to access the members' portal. |

Local meets

Athletes can compete at major championships such as Victorian All Schools, Victorian Country Championships and Victorian Championships. Entry to these major competitions is via the Athletics Victoria website and entry fees are charged.
South Coast is also a participating member of the Vern Curnow Shield: a three meet competition held between Gippsland athletic clubs. These meets are held in Newborough on Tuesday evenings in December and January.
AV Shield is a popular option for athletes willing to test their skills against metropolitan competitors. These programs offer events such as steeple chase, pole vault and the hammer throw as well as more traditional events found at local meets. Entry is via the Athletics Victoria website and is free.
Local meets are held from October through to December in Wonthaggi and Leongatha. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun with an emphasis on participation and enjoyment.
